E-Pay Troubleshooting
Apple Safari Internet Browser Some customers that are using older versions of Safari on their Apple computers have reported problems getting the login screen to load. To get around this, you can either follow the steps below to enable third-party cookies, or click here to load the login screen in a new window (please do not bookmark -- this URL is subject to regular change without notice or redirect). Third-Party Cookies In order to view Stoughton Utilities E-Pay sign-in form, you must have third-party cookies enabled, or else add exemptions in your browser to accept third-party cookies for certain websites.

When viewing a Web page, images or other objects contained within this page may reside on servers besides just the URL shown in your browser. To allow all 3rd party cookies (less secure):
  1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Check Override automatic cookie handling.
  5. Select both Accept radio buttons.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
Or to just add exceptions for SU’s E-Pay pages (more secure):
  1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the Sites button.
  4. Type in the following addresses, followed by clicking Allow.
    1. stoughtonutilities.com
    2. ecare.wppienergy.org
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox
To allow all 3rd party cookies (less secure):
  1. Click Tools > Options.
  2. Click Privacy in the top panel.
  3. Select the checkbox labeled 'Accept cookies from sites.'
  4. Select the checkbox labeled 'Accept third-party cookies.'
  5. Click OK.
Or to just add exceptions for SU’s E-Pay pages (more secure):
  1. Click Tools > Options.
  2. Click Privacy in the top panel.
  3. Click the Exceptions button.
  4. Type in the following addresses. After each, click Allow.
    1. stoughtonutilities.com
    2. ecare.wppienergy.org
  5. Click Close.

Google Chrome
To allow all 3rd party cookies (less secure):
  1. Click the Wrench button on the right-hand side and select Options.
  2. Select Under the Hood.
  3. Click the Content settings… button.
  4. Select the Cookies tab.
  5. Select ‘Allow local data to be set’.
  6. Uncheck Block all third-party cookies.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Click Close.

  1. Click the Wrench button on the right-hand side and select Options.

  3. Click the Content settings… button
  4. Select the Cookies tab.

Opera

  1. Click the Opera menu in the upper left corner.
  2. Click Settings > Preferences…
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. Select Cookies from the left-hand menu.
  5. Select Accept cookies only from the site I visit.
  6. Click OK.
Or to just add exceptions for SU’s E-Pay pages (more secure):
  1. Click the Opera menu in the upper left corner.
  2. Click Settings > Preferences…
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. Select Content from the left-hand menu.
  5. Click the Manage Site Preferences… button.
  6. Click the Add… button.
  7. Type in stoughtonutilities.com in the Site field.
  8. Select the Cookies tab.
  9. Select Accept Cookies.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click the Add… button.
  12. Type in ecare.wppienergy.org in the Site field.
  13. Select the Cookies tab.
  14. Select Accept Cookies.
  15. Click OK.
  16. Click OK.

Safari
To allow all cookies (less secure):
  1. Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Security in the top panel.
  4. Under 'Accept Cookies' select the option 'Always.'
